Positive Vibrations Festival 2017 is a 100% solar powered off-grid festival of sustainable living, with a focus on energy, technology and practical skills. A full programme of talks and hands-on Workshops during the day with Live Music on the Green Dragon Solar Stage at night.
Technology: Batteries, Solar, LEDs, Woodburners, Composting Toilets and more. Herbalism, Food and Health: Kitchen Medicines, Colds and Flu, Wild Food Walks, Preserving and more. Traditional Skills: Woodworking, Raku pottery, Willow, Skinning and more. Community: Permaculture, Energy Co-operatives and more.
We are an ethical gathering with a positive message about sustainable living. Infrastructure by REsource Living and solar stage by Green Dragon. Loads to get involved with all weekend. Walks and activities in the grounds of Prestwold Hall. Kids’ stuff in a nice marquee including: activities with Precious Days, solar workshops with Tess from REsource, huge sundial, the Fort that Counts, Lisa Moomin-mama and more. Traders selling renewable energy equipment, led lighting, hand made, second hand and up-cycled goods. Our pop-up pub is the Sun Inn, stocking local Charnwood real ales and ciders and the Cafes will be cooking sumptuous vegan and vegetarian food.
Positive Vibrations festival of sustainable living is a family friendly and accessible weekend camping event aimed at people who want to live more sustainable lives. There are no hidden costs and the ticket price includes booking fees, parking and camping. Workshops are free although some may ask a donation towards materials.
